- The pottery, Kingsgrove
The pottery was a very old factory made in 1962 founded by Alexannder can and barry finch, used for the manufacturing of bricks, roof tiles and pots. they changed because the pottery closed down and the business was bad so they didn't have enough money to continue. Then recently, a well known real estate company called commercial real estate services bought the land to continue. Also recently, a massive super market giant, woolworths opens in the new pottery and other markets. The whole real estate was around 5000 metres squared of retail space, have an underground parking and supermarket. Then the pottery became more famous because people are spreading the word.
It would make a huge impact on kingsgrove because people will move the kingsgrove and people from other suburbs will do their shopping at woolworths in the pottery instead of other expensive places like the wolli creek woolworths.
Another huge impact it would have on kingsgrove is that small business shops will close because noone is coming to their shops and because their economy is getting lower such as:
game shops
resturants
small markets
cafe shops etc.
There will be a lot of people there since its new and a lot of parking so it will be congested.
Another big change is the size of the building. Kingsgrove does not have that much tall buildings, but this building will change with the new houses and apartments being one of the tallest buildings in kingsgrove. Another huge impact is that there will be numerous spaces ready to be looked and enjoyed at any time during the day even if you are coming or going, sitting or standing. it will attract first time home buyers, couples and families. It will change the whole kingsgrove community in a positive and a negative way so its a god thing and a bad thing.

The two different local perspectives is that it would be good for people to sleep in the night because there would be peace and quiet. It would be good for people that work in the morning so they can buy snacks for their lunch and u can buy things and which you allows for far more choice in purchases.
It also allows for easy access to normal people to do some shopping,it is pretty close to bus stops and the m5 road. This is good because people who drive to work or people who drive to other placees because its saves petrol so you don't need to buy petrol a lot more often.
Now there is a negative side of these perspectives. there will be less jobs and less shops so corner shops will close. It will be very noisy in the afternoon because there will be people doing their shopping and people who work in the pottery have breaks. There will be more apartment buildings and more families coming to live in the pottery.
There will be congested parking space provided to people and it will be crowded because there will be a lot of people there.
